"Once you choose hope, anything is possible."
Christopher Reeve

Picture
Tranquil, beautiful, Flower City Park in Palmyra, MO is the future home of The Angel of Hope.  The angel's face is that of a child, it's arms raised as a child waiting to be lifted.  The word "Hope" is inscribed on her wing.

The Angel of Hope is an exact replica of The Christmas Box Angel statue, located in Salt Lake City, Utah.  It stands as a symbol of hope for all families that have experienced the death of a child.  The Angel of Hope is based on an angel statue in Richard Paul Evans' best selling novel, "The Christmas Box."

To honor our children, memorial bricks will be placed around the base of the statue with separate walkways extending in different directions.  The statue and surrounding area is intended to be a place of peace and healing for bereaved parents, family members, and friends.

The cost

There are many factors and costs to get an angel.
Land- generously donated by Palmyra Parks and Recreation
Angel- $14,500 (includes delivery)
Garden- $45,000 (includes bases, water feature, walls, benches, lighting, brick flooring, and set up.)
With each brick sold to place in the floor around the angel a profit is made to add to the funds. Tax deductible donations of any amount are also welcome.  Donations of $300 or more will be recognized on a bronze plaque in the garden.
