We have had our second Candlelight ceremony, it was short and sweet, it was also very very cold. The wind was not our friend either with the candles. I will suggest either battery op. candles or candles with cup surround for future incase wind is an issue. My heart is so happy we have this Angel to share. Next brick laying will be Spring, Mothers day May 8th 2022.

"Our Team" took 1st place and won a brick to be layed at the angel garden.

"How to kill a blocking nerd" took 2nd place.

Thank you to all the teams that played. We raised $1318.00

New members have been added to the committee to help my sister, Mitzi and I get this project going. Much needed help I might add. We have a strong group and we all want this garden to succeed and become a reality, so we will be working hard toward that goal in this next year and progress will be made!! We already have several teams signed up so this years should be bigger...YAY! There will be food available and drinks for purchase. Team cost is $125 and is Co-Ed.

This was a special day for me and my family, it was Maddy's 8th birthday. She is my inspiration to getting this garden done, so Happy Birthday Maddy Sue. We were going to plan to lay our first bricks the night of the Dinner Dance, but we are unsure if the ground (electricity) will be ran to complete the laying of the pavers. There were donations given as well. We attempted another movie night but it was rained out. We will plan several more to start at the beginning of spring. a total of $1641.00 which brings our total in the bank to $8077.10, we are over half way to the angel itself.

We do plan on doing the Dance again in Oct so get ready for that event.

My summer plans are to try and get donations from area contractors and landscaping buisnesses to go ahead and construct the "garden" area with bricks so we can get the brick orders started and have a ceremony for the bricks already ordered. That is my goal!

This will be held March 17, 2012. Winning team will recieve a brick in honor of the child or children they are playing for. (If more than one brick is needed for team, they will be sold at 50% off.)

We are also holding a raffle to go through Oct. this year for an ATV- Tickets on sale now
